Well - it's out on its first date, and I don't think its new partner will allow it out by itself again. I chose this piece of wood because it has those little blind knots - little beauty spots that put the heavy figure into context. It's natural solid wood, not printed, pressed or veneered, and yet another one that's probably used mostly for firewood because nobody stops to think.
